The name already hints at where our latest (inspirational) journey is heading: the KYOTO planning principle and real wood range from LEICHT Küchen is inspired by traditional Japanese craftsmanship and the qualities of the products it produces.
What Japanese craftsmanship traditionally stands for can be transferred to the kitchen and living room in the form of natural real wood furniture with our KYOTO novelty: the finest precision, attention to detail and timeless elegance. The planning principle is reduced to the essentials and yet shapes the surrounding space with a clear structure: it thrives on a special mixture of veneer fronts and structure-creating wooden profiles. Available in oak and walnut, KYOTO creates a simple and homely piece of furniture that unites tradition and modernity and appeals directly to our senses. Imagine entering your LEICHT kitchen and being greeted by the warmth and beauty of real wood. You feel at home and at the same time connected to nature - and in any case secure.
Characteristic of KYOTO is the spatial lattice structure, which contrasts visually with the real wood veneer front in oak or walnut. This structure is created by a sophisticated planning of side panels, shelves and horizontal solid wood handles. It's worth taking a closer look: Along the carcase line and in the wall unit units, the handle profiles are set at a distance of 2 cm from the top or bottom edge of the front; in all other cases, they are positioned directly on the front edge. The effect: the horizontal front joints "disappear" behind the overlaying grid structure, so there is no duplication of the frame structure. In this way, KYOTO creates a particularly delicate and filigree aesthetic. A surrounding real wood edge rounds off the high-quality image - also when opening the cupboards and drawers.
The second characteristic feature of KYOTO is the lively, vertical grain of the real wood front. Thanks to veneer processing on picture, the wood grain runs across the entire piece of furniture without any visual interruption. Without diminishing the natural radiance of the high-quality front, a matt, transparent surface sealing with a water-based lacquer system protects it from external influences - and where could that be more important than in the kitchen, where people cook, celebrate, live?
Gone are the days when a kitchen was merely a functional room. The kitchen is the heart of every home and so it also deserves to be designed with special care and precision. KYOTO offers our customers an ideal programme and planning principle that also fulfils the desire for high quality, warmth and naturalness.
With this new design from the 2023 collection, LEICHT illustrates a living space that is open to the maximum with gentle zoning, which allows its residents personal development and safe retreat at the same time.
A masterpiece of modern kitchen design - Imagine entering your kitchen and feeling like you're in an exclusive restaurant. The material aesthetics of the fronts and worktops, the appliances, the accessories - all perfectly coordinated. Such a kitchen can be not only a place where you prepare food, but an experience for all the senses.
