Creative cube shape solution for optimum use of space. Thinking around the corner: anyone who steps through the entrance door of this residential building in Korb near Stuttgart already finds themselves in the middle of a planning solution from LEICHT. And not in the kitchen? No, because LEICHT consistently thinks kitchen into the living space.
In cooperation with WOHNKAUFHAUS LEICHT from Schwäbisch Gmünd, a refined planning in cube form was created that combines a wardrobe, plenty of storage space, a long counter and the kitchenette - all made to measure and implemented with the LEICHT Classic-FS range.
Due to the visual and spatial separation of the living area by the glass staircase, the available space had to be optimally utilised in the planning. Because as we know: every centimetre counts in a small space. The designed cube offers a clever solution for seamlessly merging the entrance area and the kitchen space while creating plenty of storage space. A counter with seating runs parallel to the staircase, while the indirectly illuminated kitchen unit completes the planning - with everything that makes a cook's heart beat faster.
Electronic appliances such as the dishwasher and refrigerator fit exactly into the symmetrical picture of the fronts thanks to millimetre-precise dimensions. This kitchen design also stands out in terms of colour: the surfaces are designed in the light brick red Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier terre sienne Claire 31. Striking and at the same time restrained, the coloured finish radiates warmth and creates a good mood. Combined with handles in gold brass and white marbled ceramic tiles, the result is an elegant and timeless symbiosis of materials.
It’s time to shine! The PEARL surface program from LEICHT’s architecture kitchen uses the silky shimmer of mother-of-pearl to refine modern kitchen spaces. Through special processing, the material gains a fine gloss that captures and reflects light in a unique way. This gives each kitchen not only a luxurious but also a lively aura.
With this new design from the 2023 collection, LEICHT illustrates a living space that is open to the maximum with gentle zoning, which allows its residents personal development and safe retreat at the same time.
In Scandinavia there is a word for happiness: "hygge". This term cannot be clearly translated. Hygge is a feeling that is lived and celebrated - a feeling of cosiness, security and warmth. One's own home is of great importance in this context.
